Welcome to our Special Greetings Card shop
 |
Because there are so many genuine reasons to celebrate, congratulate
and commiserate, throughout each year, we have created a unique
range of handmade printed cards and decoupage cards for any event.
We have many that are specifically designed for the growing atheist
community and 'free-thinkers', who wish to celebrate the true meaning of our traditional annual festivities, and other additional atheist occasions.
All categories are listed on the left, but other greetings can be requested. We cannot contemplate making cards that celebrate religious occasions.
|
Prices include delivery by first class post, and orders are sent out as soon as received.
Any card front can be used with any message. Just pick the appropriate text for the occasion.
|
We have tried to cover all the important occasions and real life events that we are familiar with, but will comply with any reasonable request for other occasions that may be required. To make such a request, see the 'SPECIAL REQUEST' page.
We have some specifically atheist message cards, to enable the expression of personal points of view, but most cards have simple regular rhymes. Humanists may wish to send 'humanist day' cards to celebrate 'Humanist Day' and to mark the foundation of the British Humanist Association. See links on top menu for 'Humanist Day' info.
Other cards of interest include - 'Darwin Day', (Celebrating Darwins birthday, 12th Feb.) Congratulations, 'You've Given Up Religion' cards, and our new 'Happy summer vacation' cards.
As an alternative to 'xmas' cards, we hope that all atheists will welcome and support our 'Happy Years End' cards.
All cards have the N.R.G. Logo on the back, and come with an appropriate rhyme on an additional page inside. Each card is half A4 size, unless stated otherwise, and all prices are inclusive of V.A.T. and postage. See services page for more details.

Other Information

'Easter' ‘Oestre’or'Eastre' meaning ‘egg’, was once an imagined 'goddess' of the springtime, and though now made redundant (thanks to science), we will always think of the Easter period as the time to celebrate new life and natural regrowth. Today, spring is still, happily represented by the lovely egg, which symbolises this.
|
|
'Xmas' Religious beliefs are indoctrinated beliefs, and not considered here to be any real cause for celebration. Therefore we have decided that as the fabricated 'christmas’ event hasn't any factual meaning or value in reality, it should be replaced with more simple greetings for a 'Happy End Of The Year', or a 'Happy Years End'.
